How lucky are you?

Could you all look the same way please

A brief note today that will turn into a rambling lecture.
The photo above is of a young lady so brave and inspirational it makes my heart swell to have her as a friend. In 2003 she had her leg amputated below the knee after developing a tumour in her foot. 2004 The amputation was taken above the knee due to nerve damage and the chances of a prosthetic limb limited, and unlikely. At 24 years old in extreme pain my friend chooses to work and not give up using the moto 'what doesn't kill you - makes you stronger' and in her case it does. Her choice to work meant her ability to have financial support was negative and she would have to raise £25,000 for her downstairs bathroom and extension to her house herself.
Leanne achieved this with a close family, a loving fiance and a whole host of friends.
Eden project was the venue a dinner dance steel band all arranged by Leanne and a suprise fireworks display no one knew of other than they hostess made it a night to remember money was raised by Auction with the highes item bid for being a Lear Jet to anywhere in europe for 8 people down to a skirt donated by ITV coronation street (now owned by myself).
Everone had a fantastic evening the target achieved and a smiling face from the hostess as she announced the excess will go the the charity she supports.
Well done Leanne you show us that trivial squabbles and petty worries truely are insignificant to the pain and stress you endure with a smile and joke everyday never complaining and always listen when someone needs an ear.

Trina the Lush Skirt wearing fiend!
